Atlanta Tops Forbes’ List of America’s Recession-Proof Places to Retire
Individuals who lost a great deal of their portfolio in the recent
market upheaval are more closely considering market sensitivity when
selecting their retirement community. When Forbes magazine recently
published their list of America’s most recession-proof places to
retire, Atlanta came out on top, above popular sunny destinations in
Florida, Arizona and Texas where the market has been more tumultuous.
Forbes
compiled the list by crunching seven sets of statistics from sunny days
to median home price and found that Atlanta had many trends working in
its favor: low cost of living, plenty of sun and housing that is
affordable and projected to rise in value over the next five years.
Forbes’
goes on to cite Moody’s Economy.com with proclaiming Atlanta as the
financial and industrial center of the South, another factor in the
promising future for this burgeoning market of U.S. and international
business.

Investment from Mold

In
these difficult economic times, it has never been more important to

or attics and basements, often out of view—will eventually shorten the
life of your home and lead to expensive repairs. Research shows that if
you keep moisture out of your home, you'll likely avoid mold. In the
presence of moisture, mold will grow on virtually any surface—steel... Read More |
